Radio Systems Technology

Fire Facts:
Remember fire spreads in minutes and smoke kills in seconds.
Early warning from a smoke alarm will provide you with extra time in which to escape to safety.

Radio fire Alarms have protecting buildings for almost 20 years. Dramatic
development in computing and mobile phone technology has enabled the radio fire alarm industry to progress with equal success.

Traditionally the advantages with radio fire alarms have mainly been utilised in listed
buildings where it was impractical to Install / run cabling.
Now, the requirements for minimal disruption to occupants and quick Installation, this
has resulted in different kinds of buildings having radio fire systems Installed not only
in the UK but worldwide. These include Schools, Hospitals, office blocks, theatres
and so on.

All systems comply with BS5839 and EN54. The products are CE approved and
transmitters and receivers are approved to the appropriate DTI specification.
Zerio Radio Control Panel:

The Zerio control panel now allows smaller buildings to benefit from the many
advantages of radio systems at a competitive price. Over the last decade radio systems have been evolving and with increases in radio technology and battery chemistry. The Zerio system is as reliable and sophisticated as any high end hard-wired analogue addressable system.

The system has been priced to make a real alterative to hardwired systems and with the possibility of installing a 50 device system in a day it not hard to see why the Zerio system is proving to be so popular.
Key Features:

  • 8 Zones
  • 99 Devices
  • 72 Hour Battery Standby
  • Detector Dirty Warning
  • Pre-Alarm Warning

M100 Radio Control Panel:
The M100 is capable of supporting up to 3000 analogue addressable devices accommodating 999 detection zones. Using two frequencies as a means of communication, as many as 50 control and booster panel can be networked together ensuring that speed of communication across the largest system is almost instantaneous.
System Options:

  • Modem Connections
  • Paging Facilities
  • Voice Alarm
  • Other Colours Available
  • Air Condition Duct Probe
  • Interfacing Units
  • Conventional Zone Interface
  • Mimic Panels
    Panel Features:
  • Zone and Device Isolation

  • 1000 Event Battery Backed Event Log
  • 72 Hour Battery Standby
  • Day and Night Modes

    Radio Survey:
Before any Installation commences, the building must be surveyed to determine panel and device locations. This process is the most important phase of any radio system. Using sophisticated purpose designed radio equipment, each location is tested for adequate communication and ensures once Installed, that the system will perform to the high standard expected.
